I’m Alejandro “Lejo” Flores, Principal Investigator and director of the LEAF group. I am interested in land-atmosphere interactions, spatiotemporal organization of ecohydrologic processes, and analyses of land-atmosphere systems from a socio-ecological systems perspective. I primarily focus on how models and data can be used to predict hydrologic states and fluxes at spatial scales ranging from hillslopes to large water supply basins by exploiting the knowledge that’s gleaned by studying these patterns.
