The 4th annual Great Basin Consortium Conference titled, “Climate programs, water limitations, and geospaces in the Great Basin“, is being held February 17-19, 2015 in the Boise State University Student Union Building (SUB). The Great Basin Consortium is a consortium of partners whose vision is to coordinate and collaborate on science delivery to achieve sustainable and resilient Great Basin ecosystems and human communities. Their mission is to increase communication and coordination among the partner organizations in order to enhance the effectiveness of their research, management, outreach and funding activities.
This year the Lab for Ecohydrology and Alternative Futuring (LEAF) will have a strong showing at the Conference with several members presenting posters. Among those displaying a poster of their research are: Amy Steimke, Andrea Leonard, Bangshuai Han, Miguel Aguayo, Katelyn Watson, and Qingtao Zhou. Come check out their science and be part of the discussion! Poster Session I and Reception will be held Tuesday Feb. 17 from 5:15-7:00pm. Refreshments and hors d’ oeuvres are provided, with a cash bar. Poster Session II will occur Wednesday Feb. 18 from 5:00-7:00pm.
